Terms of service
These terms cover use of this website. Service delivery is governed by the signed engagement agreement, whose key commercial terms are summarised below.
1. Use of this website
This website is provided for information. Content may be updated at any time and nothing on it constitutes accounting, tax, legal or investment advice, nor an offer capable of acceptance. Pricing shown is indicative for a standard scope and is confirmed only in a written quotation.
2. Intellectual property
All content, design, text, graphics and code on this site belong to Globex Global Services LLP unless stated otherwise. You may read, print and share it for your own business purposes. You may not republish it commercially or present it as your own.
3. Enquiries and confidentiality
Information you send through an enquiry form is treated as confidential and is shared only with the people who would run your engagement. We will sign your NDA, or provide ours, before any data beyond a general description is exchanged.
4. Engagement terms
Services are delivered under a separate written engagement agreement. The standard commercial terms are:
- Minimum engagement of one seat for three months, with pricing fixed for twelve months from go-live.
- Ninety days' notice to terminate, with no exit penalty and documentation handover included.
- Thirty days' notice to reduce seat count; twenty-one days' lead time to add one.
- Payment net 15, monthly in arrears, in the currency stated in the quotation.
- Replacement of any departing team member within thirty days at our cost, with handover overlap where notice periods allow.
- Rework of work failing agreed quality standards at our cost, and indemnity for filing penalties caused by our delay.
- No-fee transfer of the dedicated team to your own employment after twenty-four months of continuous engagement.
- A written right for your internal or external auditors to audit our control environment.
Where this summary and the signed engagement agreement differ, the agreement governs.
5. Independence and scope
For audit clients, Globex staff act as engagement resources under your direction and supervision. We maintain per-engagement independence declarations and do not provide services that would be prohibited for a component of your audit. We do not sign audit opinions or tax returns.
6. Limitation of liability
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, liability under an engagement is capped at the fees paid in the preceding twelve months, with our $5M professional and cyber liability cover sitting behind it.
7. Governing law
Website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Engagement agreements specify their own governing law and dispute resolution mechanism, usually matched to the client's jurisdiction.
